Stay Connected and Informed in an Emergency

Knowing where to find reliable information and how to stay connected can make all the difference during an emergency.

Join us for a practical hands-on free workshop where you'll learn how to use your smartphone, tablet or other digital device to stay informed, prepared and connected before, during and after an emergency.

You'll learn how to find reliable emergency information online, set up emergency alerts, scan and securely store important documents, install and use helpful disaster preparedness apps, and safely access online resources. We'll also explore ways to stay connected with family, friends and your support network when it matters most.

What to expect:
- Hands-on practice and practical exercises
- Professional guidance and support
- Tips and tools you can put into practice straight away
- Light refreshments will be provided
